SPACE will once again be the key event of the autumn, where everyone involved in the livestock sector can meet at this exciting Expo, which reflects the positive image they have of their profession. SPACE will once again demonstrate how our agriculture is a 21st century sector with the ability to evolve. It will also address the concerns and commitment of our livestock farmers to live up to society’s expectations. During the four-day event, visitors and exhibitors from France and around the world will bring their enthusiasm and determination to build and discover the 2019 version of our "Planet Livestock". Exhibitors Nearly 1,400 exhibitors will be present, including 491 international exhibitors from 40 countries. 199 businesses will be exhibiting for the first time this year at SPACE. This strong participation reflects the confidence of the exhibiting companies in SPACE and confirms our importance in the global panorama of agricultural expos. All the halls will thus once again be entirely occupied this year, as well as the open air exhibition area. Consult the exhibitors list of SPACE 2019 International In 2019, SPACE will be the key global event for all stakeholders in the livestock and animal production sectors. For four days every year, Rennes vecomes the preferred destination for these professionals from around the world. 14,000 visitors from more than 120 countries are expected again this year. This year, a great many official delegations are planning to come. The distinguished visitors this year include the Russian Union of Organic Agriculture, a delegation from the Kazakhstan Embassy in France and private operators, a delegation from Shandong province in China, dairy farmers from the Punjab region in India, the Swine Farm Business Cooperation from Japan, as well as delegations of cattle farmers from Latvia, Estonia and Finland. Innov'Space 2019 The majority of the 46 prize-winning innovations this year are in the areas of sustainability, health excellence and animal welfare, digital technology and the improvement of working conditions. This space will offer visitors ideas about how to set up new climate-friendly systems, through equipment presented, innovative materials and video testimonials from farmers. Learn more Aquaculture, new at SPACE! SPACE has been hosting conferences on aquaculture for several years. On the strength of this initial success, SPACE now plans to be a key event for French and international businesses in this fast growing sector. With this in mind, the 2019 edition boasts several new features: two half-day conferences on aquaculture on Tuesday 10 September, special path routing to the stands of the exhibitors in the aquaculture sector, and tours on this theme during the Expo. This unique programme reflects the role of SPACE as a forum for the progress and evolution of livestock farming techniques and as an exceptional place for information sharing. Discover the full programme Animal presentations The programme of animal presentations is top quality again this year. SPACE 2019 will feature two major highlights, a Pie Rouge breed European Challenge and a Salers breed National Festival. The multi-breed auction is one of the events unique to SPACE. It will take place on Wednesday 11 September starting at 4.30 pm. 550 cattle of 13 different breeds will provide a continuous spectacle in the main ring during the four days of the Expo. 180 sheep and goats of 10 different breeds will also be shown.
