SPACE reveals a new visual during the year to celebrate the 30th edition of the Show

A retrospective is displayed to look back on 30 editions of SPACE. A book will also be published at the beginning of 2017.

Délégation Afrique SPACE 2016

Special focus: Africa at SPACE 2016

In 1987, during the first edition of SPACE, a delegation from Ivory Coast has visited the Show. Thirty editions later, Africa is still present at SPACE, and especially in 2016. This year, SPACE decided to focus on promoting the Show in 2 countries: Togo and Ivory Coast, but many delegations from Nigeria, Cameroon and Guinea Conakry have attended the Show.

The presence of 2 foreign Ministers this year from Cameroon and Ivory Coast reflects their interest to discover solutions and equipments presented at SPACE to meet the growing needs of their countries. 'Our agricultural objectives include a modernisation program' explains Kobenan KOUASSI ADJOUMANI, Minister for Animal and Fishery Resources in the Ivory Coast.

In order to facilitate commercial relations with exhibitors, Bretagne Filière and SPACE have organised Feel Africa. A meeting place for exhibitors and African delegations where they have presented their needs and expectations.

Since 4 years, SPACE collaborates with Malick GUEYE, permanent representative for SPACE in Africa. He crisscrosses every year Africa meeting ministers and agricultural representatives, technicians and businesses to promote SPACE. A big thank to him and for all the accomplished work!
