CARBON STRATEGY: SPACE COMMITS
SPACE wants to develop its carbon strategy and make a long-term commitment to help reduce emissions, in the same way as its participants do on a daily basis in their company and on their farms. In order to define the actions to be taken, as well as the new measures to be implemented for future editions, SPACE is going to calculate its carbon footprint for the 2023 edition. It is the first agricultural Exhibition in France to take this step.
The opening ceremony for SPACE 2023 will take place on Tuesday 12 September with Marc Fesneau, the French Minister for Agriculture and Food.
The Head of Representation of the European Commission in France, Valérie Drezet Humez, will be present on Thursday 14 September.
