The FENGTECH system (ETF) is a solar hot water production system patented by FENGTECH. The Fengtech system is the only technology selected as ''new generation thermal solar energy'' by the European project ICARE4FARMS, to reduce CO2 emissions in farms in North-West Europe. In the changing and cloudy climate of the north and north-west of France, the performance of this technology has been proven by more than 40 installations in livestock farms. Breeders generally observe an energy saving of more than 50%, i.e. a reduction in the purchase of fossil energy of more than 50%.
The specificities of the FENGTECH system are:
1- It captures direct, diffuse and reflected solar radiation.
2- It has a large heat storage capacity. It stores the heat in the solar tanks (in series and in parallel).
3- The system is a modular system. It must be assembled on site to be operational. Thus, a very large solar thermal system can be obtained.
