Outstanding events of the year

The Exhibition centre:

Beginning of the construction of a new hall of 8 000 m² (hall 5), which will be inaugurated in 1989

Special focus: a circus marquee at SPACE!

In 1988, some of the cattle presentations were organized under a circus marquee! For lake of space, the organizers have displayed a circus marquee to organize some animal competition ! In total, more than 950 animals were displayed at SPAC 1988.

The programme was especially extensive with National pigs competitions of Large White, Landrace and Pietrain breeds, Limousine regional competition, Breton Horse competition, ...
